Peer Power Hour – March 25 – in person
Peer Power Hour(ish) is a monthly, action-oriented gathering for people engaged in social change who want to move ideas into action through creative brainstorming, peer support, and meaningful conversation. Open to anyone who wants to bring an idea or project, support others, or simply be in thoughtful community.
WHO
People engaged in social change across sectors — organizers, nonprofit staff, educators, artists, funders, public servants, entrepreneurs, and anyone doing justice-oriented work. You’re welcome whether you come with a challenge, a desire to support others, or simply good questions.
WHAT
Peer Power Hour, created by Andrea Martin of Give & Gather and Beth Tener of Kinship Hub, will facilitate monthly, peer-to-peer gatherings that use the Pro-Action Café method to help people move from intention to action through creative brainstorming, shared insight, and collective problem-solving.
WHEN
March 25th from 12 – 1:30pm
These gatherings will be held monthly on the last Wednesday of the month. Save the dates: the next two are March 25 and April 29.
WHERE
Hosted at the Black Lives Matter NH office hub
Dover, New Hampshire (Location details shared upon registration)
HOW
Using the ProAction Cafe (which is a blend of “world cafe” and “open space” facilitation tools) each session invites a few participants to bring a real idea, project, or challenge they’re navigating in their work. 3 ideas are picked and the group then collaborates to explore possibilities, surface what’s missing, ask thoughtful questions, and identify next steps. Participation is flexible — you can come to work on something, to support others, or simply to listen and contribute.
WHY
Social change work is complex, relational, and often isolating. This space exists to support the people doing that work — offering shared intelligence, encouragement, and practical movement forward. These gatherings are a haven where we discover how many minds can work in cahoots – in the best sense – to help each other make meaningful change.

This gathering is free to attend. We suggest a $30 donation to support the facilitators and help sustain future Peer Power Hour gatherings. If you’re unable to donate, there is absolutely still a seat for you. If you’re able to give more, your generosity helps make this space possible for others.

We will hold these gatherings on the last Wednesday of the month. The next one is April 29, at the same place.
