Peer Power Hour in Nashua – October 1

We’re excited to bring  Peer Power Hour to Nashua, NH, partnering with two amazing community organizations: Grow Nashua and Positive Street Art.

This is a facilitated gathering where community members bring ideas, projects, or challenges and get rapid-fire support, fresh perspectives, and helpful connections from others in the room. Through rotating small-group conversations, we’ll help move good ideas into action while building relationships and shared problem-solving across different backgrounds and experiences.

It’s fun and creative. Come with an open heart and mind to create together.

Here are some feedback from previous participants:

“I was delighted to see the wonderful work happening in our ommunity and all of these questions we generated to help people. It’s great to talk about it all without being attached to it.”

“People forget that they hold a lot of valuable insights. Being able to mirror it back to them feels useful.”

“I love this circle. I’m looking to expand my community and find people out there looking to help others, to learn and grow from. In this gathering, I’ve absorbed as much as I’m giving.”

Who is it for?

People engaged in positive change in our community, from across sectors — organizers, artists, community builders, nonprofit staff, educators, funders, public servants, entrepreneurs, and anyone doing justice-oriented work. You’re welcome whether you come with a challenge, a desire to support others, or simply good questions.

What will we do?

At each session, a few participants offer an idea, project, or challenge they’re navigating in their work. We pick three to four ideas and then people gather in small groups to help each person explore their idea, surface what’s missing, ask thoughtful questions, and identify next steps. The groups rotate so everyone gets to offer input at several tables and meet lots of people. Participation is flexible — you can come to work on something, to support others, or simply to listen and contribute.

Peer Power Hour was created and meets regularly in the Portsmouth area, hosted by Beth Tener of Kinship Hub and Andrea Martin of Give and Gather. Grow Nashua and Positive Street Art are excited to create these gatherings in Nashua, working in collaboration with Kinship Hub.
