Context
I have been with this organization for 15 years in a leadership role. The organization is about to merge with a bigger organization.
I am being offered a leadership role, with possible future opportunities to have a strategic planning/re-imagination role for the state-wide organization.
I feel rejuvenated when I contemplate bringing something new to the institution/system, e.g., approaching its social change work differently, bringing in a more heart and human centered approach. I’d love to redesign, reimagine the work, be able to bring something new to the table, though I also wonder if there’s appetite for this.
Question/Intention
How can I bring my strengths and values such that my entry into a new organization can be as effective and successful for me and for them as possible?
